Follow the steps below:=20
1. Go to Citrix Connection Configuration on each server in the farm.=20
2. Highlight the connection type you are working with.=20
3.      Click security > permissions.=20
4.      Add a user or group.=20
5. Highlight the user or group you added in the previous step.=20
6.      Click advanced.=20
7.      Double-click the user or group/ or click view > edit.=20
8. Add the permission to shadow.
At this point, select either of the methods below that you want the =
users to shadow with:
=B7     Publish Wshadow.exe for the shadow taskbar.=20
=B7 Publish Mfadmin.exe for the Citrix Server Administrator Tool for =
MetaFrame 1.8 servers.=20
=B7 Connect with or Publish the Citrix Management Console for MetaFrame =
XP servers. Note: MetaFrame XP Feature Release 2 allows granular =
policies, via the Citrix Management Console, to control shadowing.=20

It's in Citrix Connection Config. Double click on the ICA-TCP, then go =
to
Advanced. Uncheck the Run Only Published Apps box.

You have the setting "Run Only Published Applications Set" in Metaframe
Admin (assuming you are talking about MF 1.8).

Neil,

I tried all the credentials I could think of:
- User I'm trying to shadow
- Local admin
- Citrix admin
- Domain admin
...but none worked and all gave me the message "The system cannot log =
you=20
on [52E]..."

Anymore ideas?

Thanks

Regards
Francois
