[THIN] Re: Test Server Farm

I guess I was thinking fail over. If they are in the same zone if we have a
server from the Production Farm go down, then I would join one of the test
servers into the new farm within worrying about the zone it is in. Not
really a DR function but a simulated one. :) I figured if I created a new
zone then I would have to uninstall MetaFrame and re-install it in the
proper zone. I don't know, just trying to be flexible in our environment
but I do like your points about separating Production Zone from a Test Zone.
It does make sense....Thanks for input. It is greatly appreciated. Have a
nice labor day weekend for those of you in the states and for others, just
have a nice weekend. Jay

My question would be why would you? Just create 2 zones. It is always good
to make clear distinctions on test and production...

Subject: [THIN] Test Server Farm

We are building a new Citrix Server Farm for testing. I plan on putting
this farm in the same zone as my Production Farm. Does anyone see any
reason why I would want this new test farm in its own zone?

Thanks.
