Hi Tim,

So it doesn't appear to be able to talk to the license server on the DC. =3D
(It
is on one of the DCs isn't it?)

Sounds like an IP filter in the DMZ is screwing things up.

Have you tried hard configuring the license server (TS CALs) IP address?

regards,

Rick

Guys,

Does anyone have any pointers or suggestions for the following =3D
situation, a=3D3D
s I'm banging my head against the wall on this.

We have a Win2k TS server in a DMZ that is a member of our AD domain. =3D
It h=3D3D
as an event log full of 1003, 1004 and 1010 errors and will not let =3D
anyone =3D3D
connect to it via TS even if they have a valid TSCAL (apart from admins =3D
of =3D3D
course).

I've followed MS's suggestions from KB 239107 even adding into the local =3D
ho=3D3D
sts file on the TS server the name and IP address of the domain =3D
controller.

I can ping the DC as well as get a response from nbtstat -a from the ts =3D
ser=3D3D
ver to the dc and vice versa so NETBIOS / TCP comms appears to be =3D
working O=3D3D
K.

Any suggestions people as this one is killing me.

(Oh I've also tried deleting the local CAL on the client with no luck =3D
too)

thanks

Tim
