Are any of the 16 licenses expiring any time soon? Brian -----Original Message----- From: Roger Wright [mailto:rwright@xxxxxxxxxxx] Sent: Thursday, February 17, 2005 10:26 AM To: thin@xxxxxxxxxxxxx Subject: [THIN] TS Licensing - Again! Okay, I'll admit it - I'm thoroughly confused here. My Citrix box has 15 Citrix connection licenses and runs on Windows 2000 Server. It's the only server I use for remote connections, other than the occasional RDP admin connection to other Windows 2000/2003 servers. My TS Licensing Server is a Windows 2003 Server. The Terminal Services Licensing module only shows itself, not the Citrix box. I see "Existing Windows 2000 Server - TS CAL tokens" (16) and 1 temporary license for a remote user. That license is set to expire in 13 days. This morning that user received the "Your terminal services temporary client license will expire in 13 days" warning message. I've not seen this before but found http://support.microsoft.com/kb/822134 which tries to explain the cause of the error message. Trouble is, I don't understand the root of the problem. We've not had this issue previously when remote users connect to the Citrix box. Can I make changes to the licensing configuration to resolve this? Do I need to purchase additional licenses before proceeding?
