it's more the other way around

So, is it correct to assume that any virus/trojan/worm that spreads by
looking through your local drives, wouldn't be able to jump across to
the Citrix server, since I have server drive visibilty and access
disabled for the general user?

I'm curious what exactly you mean by this - I would have thought the
opposite .......

Erm... unless of course your endpoint has a document/file that you load
up into your session and you attempt launch it - its no different from
importing a file from cd/usb/file extension but there is no 'no threat'.

And you've now also opened up a method by which users can readily
extract/transfer data out of the organisation. Some organisations like
to keep tabs on who exports information to USB/CD - now you have the
possibility of monitoring the remote file transfers.

yes you can and no, there is no threat of virus. remember that the local
client knows nothing about the servers HDD. it's more the other way
around.
