I've had quirky issues in the past with servers that were sysprepped, so I've made it a policy not to do so. Sysprep was the only variable, because I imaged the machine and forgot to sysprep it at first, then I followed the sysprep procedure and imaged it again right after that, so I had both sysprepped and non-sysprepped images. It really doesn't buy you much in my mind anyway. It's actually faster to use ghostwalker or Sysinternal's Newsid anyway, so the short answer would be no. :-) Brian -----Original Message----- From: Turman, David C. I understand it basically strips the SID and IP info out.
