Want to thank everyone for their comments on this issue. Per the KB, I've
implemented the DefaultPrnFlags setting on several of our test systems, and
it's allowing staff to print to their canon printers using their local
machine drivers.

I've had a couple issues specifically with Canon IR 3080 models, with this
setup, where for some reason when a user printed from the Citrix EMF viewer,
the job would 'spool' and then 'delete' immediately, and not print. The same
user would be able to print to those printers from any app on their machine
with no problem, but EMF printing bombed out.

Changing those printers to "print immediately" and skipping spooling has
solved this problem for now.

This setup requires more clicking from our staff, but more clicking vs tens
of thousands for software . . . so far the extra clicks are quite tolerable.

ty again for the feedback gang,

Lan
