So for applications such as Office I would need to profile them and put
them on a share somewhere? Can you point me to any docs that reference how
to do this? Is there an issue with having to profile the apps together so
they can communicate like in Softgrid?

Citrix has it's own packager. Instead of sequencing, they call it profiling
the application. It's pretty much the same idea/process as softgrid but
it's not softgrid.

Subject: [THIN] Streaming Applications

Looking into streaming applications for PS 4.5 feature pack1(Xenapp). I see
how to publish a streamng application and create a streaming profile. My
questions is creating the streaming application. The doc I am looking at
points the streaming app to a share for the application. I am assuming the
streaming application was created with Softgrid or some other virtual
application technology. Is Citrix assuming you are using Softgrid or does
citrix have a way of creating streaming applictions? I am just thinking
back when I used Softricity in the past we had to sequence the app and
place on the Softgrid server and have the softgrid client on the Citrix
box. Can anyone enlighten me on how your doing this?

Mike
