Got it, guys.

Thanks!

Turns out the latest and greatest client doesn't work so hot with this
server. I actually downgraded to 7.0 and got it to work just fine.

Glad it happened to me, and not anyone else.

/Ryan

Fix that to "Yes" for limited to an ICA session.

I was on a roll there for No. ;-)

Quick questions

Is the Protected Storage service stopped for any reason ?

No.

Are the servers all at the same Hotfix/Security fix level ?

No. I'm unable to bump this one up because of application compatibility
issues.

"Other Servers" in this case did not necessarily mean part of the same farm,
but rather. other sites/clients.

Is it limited only to an ICA session ?

No.

Are you running seamless apps ?

No.

Have you tried an RDP session ?

Yes. And it seems to work just fine.

Regards

Latest client, fresh install.

Does not happen on any other Citrix server except this particular one.
Tested on about 15 others.

Any other ideas? :-)

I guess I should be more detailed.

This doesn't happen when IE opens specifically. It occurs when I try to nav.
to another site, or log in to a password protected resource.

Also happens if I try to open a folder via mapped drive or
\\server\sharename.

I've tried 800x600/256/24 bit, and Full screen 256/24 bit from the full PN
version. No web interface.

I have seen that when the IE is set to open within the same window, and it
closes my user's Citrix WI window.

What is your "ICA session"? Is it embedded in IE, running full client or
web or pnAgent?

Hey all,

Ran in to something I've never seen before.

Every time I open a folder in explorer, or Internet Explorer itself
(probably other things as well), my ICA session is closing. It just shuts on
me. No errors in eventlog to indicate a terminating program, nothing. This
happens as multiple users on the same server. I've rebooted, just because
that seemed the appropriate thing to do for such an anomaly... and no go.

Anyone seen something like this, before?

Server is on MF1.8 / Windows 2k SP3.
