Yes. The licenses will go back into the pool I think after 120 days of
non-use.
Note that 2003, as of yet, does not track per-user licenses. But it will
in the future, I'm sure.

Subject: [THIN] Silly licensing question
I just "cashed in" on my XP Pro transitional licenses and did
them as per user, since I've got users who will work from home, work,
and possibly multiple work locations. What happens when one of these
users is terminated. Does their CAL expire back into the pool to be
re-used after a certain period of time? This is all 2003 stuff, in case
FYI.
