What sort of Hardware? What version of Windows and Service packs? Do you cycle boot your server at all? What print drivers do you use? -----Original Message----- From: thin-bounce@xxxxxxxxxxxxx [mailto:thin-bounce@xxxxxxxxxxxxx] On Behalf Of Jonathan Carr Sent: 22 January 2004 15:48 To: 'thin@xxxxxxxxxxxxx' Subject: [THIN] Server Crashes ** Before acting on this email, or any attachments, you are advised to read Alsters Kelley's disclaimer at the end of this email ** I'm running an NT Terminal Server w/ MF 1.8 FR3 On average, about 2 or 3 times a month I have a server crash and everyone is thrown out of Citrix. All the event viewer reports is a 6008 (Unexpected Shutdown) and there is a Save Dump that contains the following: "The computer has rebooted from a bugcheck. The bugcheck was: 0x0000007f (0x00000008, 0x00000000, 0x00000000, 0x00000000). Microsoft Windows NT [v15.1381]. A full dump was not saved." Apart from that there is nothing to suggest why this is happening. Although it's not a major worry, it's starting to annoy the users as they cannot trust the system! Which is obviously a major black mark on the IT dept!! I've searched hi and low for reasons why this keeps happening, but can't find anything remotely resembling a solution. Can anyone offer any advice or offer any resources that might help. Thanks in advance, Jon........ ** Disclaimer ** This electronic message contains information from Alsters Kelley, which may be privileged and confidential and is intended solely for the use of the individual or entity to whom it is addressed.
