It verifies the print drivers you have on the server.
Also, Print Drivers that are meant for NT 4.0 version 2, will cause mayhem
with Win2k, usually you can use Fixprnsrv.exe to update or fix these
troublesome issues.

If you suspect a printer driver problem, I'd download this utility
and run it on every server, especially your print server:

If you're running W2k, make darn sure you've got Version 3 drivers!
