Yep,
 Raid drivers... gotta love em ,  the issue this time however appears to be
wrapped around the Novell client (4.83 SP1). When I login workstation only
everything works at normal speed. thanks for the feed back I will check out
the KB's.

        A lot of the fix was to make sure your servers had the latest
        SCSI and RAID drivers installed.

Maybe somewhere to start is looking at Technet Articles 324446,811392 and
332023. There are issues with SP3 and Write Back caching. Hope you get to
the bottom of your symptons. regards
