I had not thought of that. I did not install the CMC, yet it still installs
1.5.0_09.

The only thing that really uses Java is the old CMC (and Web Interface).
Typically I do not install the CMC on Application servers so if you follow the
same philosophy, uninstall 1.5.0_09 after installing PS 4.4 and install the
java version of your choice.

Subject: [THIN] SAP via PS 4.5
Finding that a module of SAP (XMII) will not run properly on PS 4.5, as PS 4.5
requires java 1.5.0_09. The XMII module of SAP requires java of exactly
1.4.2_07.
Anyone heard of this?
This is VERY frustrating, as I have built out an entire SAP/Citrix environment,
told the java version would not be a problem, now suddenly am being told I need
to potentially tear down the entire environment (which is at a remote data
center) and rebuild it as PS 4.0 (as this runs on 1.4.2_06/07) for X64 servers.
Anyone know if PS 4.0 is as stable on X64 as PS 4.5 is? PS 4.5 on X64 has been
AWESOME and rock solid.
Chad
