Just re-read the post, the guy with 2 Dell's and 2 Compaqs only had 2gb
in his Compaq server, which is why those worked.
Another guy said he had the same problem on a server with 3GB of RAM,
but he seemed "unsure" in his post.

Same problem here...Dell servers, no openmanage, 4GB RAM, Outlook 2003
running on Windows 2003 SP1 with PS4.0, and Exchange 2003 mail server.
Adding a PST to the MAPI profile immediately crashes Outlook.
If you come up with a solution, please post to the list. I'll do the
same.

Subject: [THIN] Revisited: PST's crashing outlook
I've read a BUNCH of posts of users who have the problem I do. Outlook
2003 on 2003 Server crashing with a PST file from mspst32.dll. Many of
them have said they contacted MS and MS said that Outlook 2003 and a PST
will crash on a server with 4gb of RAM or more. They told these people
to reduce the RAM or wait for a Hotfix.
Some suggested a PAE problem. I don't use /PAE so I tried /NOPAE and
have the same result.
Someone suggested a PAE hotfix, but the user replied to them saying they
had 2003 SP1 so the hotfix was included in SP1.
One person said they have 4 servers with 4gb of RAM, 2 Compaq and 2
Dell, and that they only had the problem on the Dell servers. I'm not
running OpenManage on my Dell servers which are effected.
Does anyone with a 2003 Server and 4GB of RAM and Outlook 2003 want to
test out working with PSTs and let me know the results?
