[THIN] Resource Manager Server metrics

Hi all,

Anyone know of a guide which would indicate decent default metrics for
industry standard servers.

ie HP ML380 dual xeon 3ghz with 4gb ram

while i know this is totally abitrary it would be good to have an idicator
not based on technology used many moons ago.

I have a lot of different configurations and while it is no problem to
baseline it would be nice not to re-invent the wheel.
