I have tried all of those items, and have only gotten more frustrated.

Ok. Sorry for the last this arrived after my reply. Only other things I can
think to check is that the resource manager mail service is started and
using the account of the RM mail user not local system. If that is not the
problem I would delete and recreate the outlook profile if you have not
already. Otherwise I have no clue and you will have to wait for someone
wiser. :)

I can go directly onto the server, and send/receive from the mailbox itself.

Just that the Resource Manager test and actual does not send from it...

Profile is IDENTICAL in CMC and as the mailbox on the server.

I do the test and the CMC states that it is active, but I get no e-mail.
There is nothing in sent, nothing in outbox.  No record, as if it never
existed.

Using the test on another server, works fine.  Sent, received.

When you say tests are active do you mean you receive the test e-mail? Have
you tried logging into the mail account you have configured for rm mail and
looked at sent items, outbox, etc to see if messages are making it to the
exchange (or other) server and hanging there. Look for ndr's in the inbox
too.

For some reason, my Resource Manager Mail is not working.  It shows active
in CMC, and tests come back active, but no mail is sent.

To test, I configured another server identical and that one works fine.

Thoughts?
