Doug

Had a good look but can't seem to locate them anymore. I guess a call
to Citrix is your best bet.

Any luck finding these?

I have another question about crystall reports? If anyone knows. I
want to generate a report for weekday users but can't figure out how to
restrict the SessionSTART and SessionEND to week day m-f 7:30-6pm only.

Any examples? suggestions? thanks.

Doug,

I have been using XTS recently and it's been great. I know that this is
a plug, but it's been really good, worth recommending.

There is a few things that it won't do such as intra day reporting, and
counters on CPU usage aren't fantastic at this point in time, but they
are apparently going to be fixing that in the new version coming out in
August. It will easily give you what you want both across the farm and
also per published app if you want it.

Malcolm and others,

Given that most people are going to end up writing *basically* the same
reports, would it be worthwhile to start a "report library" somewhere,
where people could contribute their already-written reports for the
edification and benefit of others? We already do the same thing with
policies, scripts, etc.

Doug

Best bet is to write your own reports. You can use crystal reports or
SQL reporting services. The RM database is fairly easy to understand.
With the help of some SQL colleagues we have expanded a bit on what
reports we can run using SQL reporting stuff. Unique users per app per
day and the like. It will take you some time to set up and understand.
There is some info using crystal here.

We are running enterprise. We have that web report tool setup but I
went thru it and I looked thru the reports that are there but can't get
the following:

Server/App

Max # users per day

Average # users per day. - i can generate the day graph and get some
mean values by putting my mouse on the points.

These stats I need by silo and also by server in the silo.

So I want to get the numbers that the silo had Max X# and Average# of
users for each day of the month.

And I want to get the numbers for server had Max X# and Average# of
users for each day of the month.

And more later.

You didn't say but I assume you are running Enterprise with Resource
Manager configured.

We are using PS3 with 2005.04 applied.
W2k3 sp1.

Can anyone recommend tool for getting the following type of stats?

For Published desktop:

Max # users per day
Average users per day

For Server

Max # users per day
Average users per day

I am looking in Access Suite console reporting and don't seem to be able
to get an really details. Get a graph.

If I am missing something let me know.
