Rob,
If you are on SP2/FR2 you can run the CHFARM command to get your server
back into the farm.
You can run CHFARM from SP1/FR1 but I think you need the CD for that.
Also, uninstalling and reinstalling Citrix will work, but is a pain.
You should have found out why the license was not getting applied to the
second server before you did anything.
Could it be that you got XPs licenses when you really wanted XPa or XPe
for load balancing?

server in farm?

Dudes,
I need a little help today. I am implementing an MFXP farm and after
bringing up a dedicated ZDC, SQL DS, and 2 MFXP servers, one of the servers
did not appear to be participating in the licensing scheme. I called
Licensing support and after checking a few basic things, I was told by the
rep that she did not know what else to do. Seeing the "Remove Server from
Farm" option, I asked if maybe I could remove it and add it back. Doh!! Not
seeing any way to get it back in the farm, I asked the Licensing rep what
my next step was. She referred me to the Admin Guide available on the web.
Thanks for stopping by!
So how do I get an MFXP server BACK in the farm after it's been removed? Do
I have to un-install MFXP and re-install? If so, I guess the application I
installed to publish must also be re-installed. Looking like a really great
finish to the week!!!
Thanks,
Rob Slayden
