[THIN] Re: Remote Printer issues

Warren,
Thanks for the reply, I downloaded the app, and it works good for most
situations, the biggest problem is in the factories where a user has a
label printer and a laser printer, they know that reports go to the
laser and labels go to the label printer, but sometimes they 'forget' to
change to the proper printer or they choose a printer from another
department which usually means a different building, and they try to
stop it if they figure it out and then we get reams of paper with a
handful of weird characters on each page, it is a mess. I know what the
problem is, Nick hit the nail on the head, the users have too many
rights, but the VAR who set everything up set it up that way, he
actually gave every user full admin rights on everything, I fixed that,
but I cannot yet remove the users from local admin just yet, it breaks
things, so until I get that one figured out, I am stuck with this
printing issue. Oh the Joy of it all. Job security.

Thank You

To set the default printer to the same default printer for each time a
person logs in, use DEFSET
from the Ctrl-Alt-Del Utils Page.
