I'm trying to stay away from XPe because of the patching.
We tried a Neolinux client a few months ago and we had a lot of trouble
with CACs. When you took the card out, the system would lock (as it
should), but then you could not unlock it. It was like the it could not
detect the card again.
Has anyone used the Wyse Thin OS Thin clients?

HP's will do it. i have used them with a CAC and they work
fine. HP bought Neoware and those models are now featured in the HP
lineup. their Neolinux client works with CAC although it is sensitive
to the readers you use. I deployed a lot of T5270's running XPe. We
had issues, but not with CAC.

Hi all, we're looking to replace our Wyse 941G TCs with
newer ones. They've been really good TCs; the only thing I hate is
patching Windows XP embedded.
I'm looking to replace them with Linux TCs or any other
OS that is pretty secure and does not require much patching.
The TCs are automatically configured to launch an ICA
Desktop session to our Citrix servers. Another requirement is that they
must support CACs (Smart Cards)
Any recommendations?
