[THIN] Re: Recommendations for Thin client devices

I would recommend looking at the Chip-PC thin clients because they have
the best software feature set and management software (Excalibur). We
currently use Wyse units but Rapport sucks, I wouldn't recommend them
for this reason.

Personally I think Windows CE is the best since it doesn't need to be
patched, if you want Windows XP I think going with a desktop is a better
choice.

The only issue I have with Linux devices is the slow boot speed and the
feature set isn't better that a good CE device.

I would recommend looking at the dual screen models since you can get up
to a 30% productivity increase by deploying dual screens to task based
workers.
