RDS scales well, but the problem is with its lack of management tools. This is why Microsoft themselves recommend Citrix XenApp for the larger and/or more complex environments. There's also a lack of client support for non-Windows OSs. This is not to say it doesn't work, as there are RDS clients available for most things. But they won't support the full feature set including things like RemoteApp. Cheers, Jeremy.
