[THIN] Re: Published Apps going from 1.8 to XP

The ICA files contain all 10 servers listed in the TCPBrowserAddress
section. The main (#1) address is the data collector/master browser.

By security, I am guessing you mean user/group permissions to the
applications. We will be creating a new AD group for the applications
and assigning that group to the published application.

Thanks,
Ben Katz

What's in your ICA files? Are they pointed at Master Browser's or Data
collector's? How about security?

        Hi All -

I'm in the middle of upgrading a 10 server MF1.8 farm to MF XP.
For its few published applications we use ICA files that have been
placed on users' desktops. (No NFuse environment, at least not yet!)
I've been running the farm in mixed-mode operation, but will soon finish
the upgrades and be ready to turn off the 1.8 compatibility. I'm
wondering if there will be any consequences using the same ICA files
once we're running purely MF XP?

        Thanks everyone,
        Ben Katz
