You cant hide ALLL drives. Just hide the ones you want (like C: and D:
etc) then give them explorer via a published app and they can see the
other drives you mapped.

OK,
In the GPO I hide all drives and then map them in my login script. It
works
fine in a published desktop, the mapped drives show up in "My Computer".
This is what my published explorer lookes like..
C:\Pub-Network\pexplorer.exe[1] /n, /root, H:\[2]
and I do get the home drive :-) , but I still can't see the network
shares.
