You also can try Regmon and Filemon from Sysinternals.com to see the difference
in execution. Could be a file issue or such that did not get caught by the
Install mode. I install a lot of software remotely and usually don't have
problems but there are a few apps that don't like it.

Try installing from the console. I know Arcserve has some issues with
Remote Desktop installs, for example. Secondly, try using the
compatws.inf template on your server through Security Analysis and
Configuration (This is 2000 right?)

Subject: [THIN] Problems with new app.
I have a problem.
I have just installed a new app on my testserver.
The app works fine for the adminuser i installed it with.
It gives a error when i use it with a regular user. I have also elevated
taht "regular user" to a domain admin (same as installuser), and i still
get the error. So guess its not a security issue.
When i installed this I was logged on the server troug ICA, as a domain
admin, and put the server in installmode.
Could this be the problem? Could this cause problems?
I tought it was ok to install remote as long as you put the server in
installmode...
Any toughts?
Mvh
