I have a few of the HP LaserJet 4200 printers on this site, we had an app that was crashing due to the existing 4200 printer drivers. I then went through and got the latest drivers from the HP site and installed them, since then we have had nothing but trouble with two different 4200 printers. The issue we had was that when you printed something, although the printer was setup with papersize of A4 and a paper type of plain, when opening up an app and printing, it was then prompting for a paper type of Labels on the printer. I tried changing over to the 4250 driver as we were using that on another printer without hassle, but we were still having issues. The issue we had was that althought the settings were correct on the server - after re-installing the printer on the client to get the settings on the client - they weren't flowing onto the Citrix server, but that's now resolved by updating to the V9.1 client. Now if I open up explorer on the server, I am getting the right settings on the server, but these aren't going through to Excel. If I look in Excel, go to file, print, and then click on the properties of the printer and go to paper type it's specifying the paper type as Bond, if we manually change it to plain, it prints fine. So at the end of the day, I am on my third print driver (The original, old 4200 driver, the new 4200 driver and now the 4250 driver which works on another printer) Does anyone have any ideas on how to resolve this? It's driving me nuts. Berny ______________________________________________________________________ The contents of this transmission are confidential.
