Hey, thanks for the info. By the way, do you know where I can get the
latest version of this file? Thanks again.

There is a sample of this on thethin.net and other places But here is the
basic jist. It's the wtsuprn.txt configured and renamed to wtsuprn.inf
This file and its contents are third party suggested drivers for printers
; in a Citrix MetaFrame and Terminal Server Environment. This may not be
 ; supported by all parties involved ;
; This is a template for wtsuprn.txt -- rename this file to WTSUPRN.inf ;
; This file provides a mapping for client printers which have a name
 ; different from the server printer. this file is necessary since many
; printers for Win9x and Win NT are different from their TSE equivalent. ;
; Note: the driver for the server printer must be installed. See the
; MetaFrame Concepts and Planning Guide.
; [Identification] OptionType = PRINTER [ClientPrinters] ;
; Client Name Server Name
 ; NOTE: Some drivers may be repeated.

It's a straight win 2k machine; no Citrix. What's the mapping file?

Straight up win2k or Win2k with Citrix.

Also even if youloaded the driver did you edit the mapping file?

Subject: [THIN] Printing Redirection Problem

Hello:

I have a Brother HL-1440 printer using an HP LaserJet IIP driver (which is
what I need according to Brother tech support on a Terminal Server).
However, when the user logs on, a session is not created in the printers
folder. E.g., in the printers folder, when a user logs on, I'm expecting to
see something like this: "Brother HL-1440/Computer_Name/Session 9".
However, when the user logs on, the session is not created.

I'm running W2k with SP-4. Does anyone have any idea what's going on?
Thanks.

Dean
