Hi Christine,
This sounds like it contains two parts:
1. The user's client default printer is not being autocreated.
2. Some other printer is set as the session's default printer
instead.
The first is likely because the user's client default printer has no
matching driver on your Citrix server. Look for event logs from
MetaFrame saying "could not auto create printer xxxx".
The second is likely because you have a printer created on the Citrix
server that is always available to everyone. It only shows its existence
when autocreation fails. Open print manager as an administrator and look
for printers that do NOT say "Auto Created Client Printer" in the
comment field.

Subject: [THIN] Printing
Running XP fr3
Some of my users are having issues printing to their default printers.
This one particular application does not them them browse the network
for their printer it just a screen shot and it prints to their default
printer. Some print jobs will show up in another department's printer.
All printers are networked.
I have a policy set up to "default to client's main printer at logon"
and "connect client printers at logon, deafault client printer only".
It does not print to the default, it may be printing somewhere else on
the network.
I'm not sure why this is happening. What am I doing wrong! Help!
