[THIN] Re: Printer mappings

yes the drive mapping file is only for autocreated printers.

Your best bet is 1) not allow users to browse and install printers. 2)
setup a separate print queue with the correct driver (point the queue to the
kyocera) and have the users connect to that.

I'm running Citrix XPA on windows 2000.

I setup a driver mapping for a kyocera to a HP LJ 4.

The HP LJ 4 driver is on the citrix server.

We have our users browse from their citrix sessions to the print server
and then connect to the printer they need. But they are still getting
access denied when they try to add the Kyocera.

Is driver mapping only for auto-created printers?

I REALLY don't want to have to add the kyocera driver to the citrix
server.

Thanks,jb
