Hi folks; The subject line pretty much says it all -- printers are no longer autocreating after having to do extensive work fixing a spywared Citrix MF XP \ Windows 2000 server. Some piece of spyware had broken the IE/winsock relationship and utilities such as LSPFix and WinsockFix failed to restore the necessary registry entries. The short-term resolution was to back up and restore the HKLM\..Services\Winsock and Winsock2 keyes from an identical server. Since then, though, printer autocreation is 'frozen' - there are a small number of autocreated client printers which persist from reboot to reboot, but no new ones are created (and the old ones never go away). I've cleared out the spool\printers directory and restarted services, rebooted, etc, and no joy. Any suggestions short of reinstalling Citrix and/or rebuilding? -- -------------- 'The difference between theory and practice is larger in practice than it is in theory.' ******************************************************** This Weeks Sponsor SeamlessPlanet.com Domain Names Register your .com domain name for as low as $7.85 One of the lowest prices on the web!
