File and registry permissions should see to most of it. -----Original Message----- From: bbeckett2000@xxxxxxxxx [mailto:bbeckett2000@xxxxxxxxx] Sent: 13 January 2003 20:11 To: thin@xxxxxxxxxxxxx Subject: [THIN] Policy Have a couple of 2000 Terminal Servers in an NT domain so I cannot use a GPO. We have a few users who get a published desktop and I want to prevent them from being able to add software. Locally I can disable add/remove programs but that doesn't take away their ability to install software via other methods. Other than NOT publishing the desktop, is there a way I can lock this down via local pol on the 2000 box? *********************************************** This Weeks Sponsor: WM Software WMS Messenger for TSE Affordable Instant Messaging for Terminal Servers http://www.wmsoftware.com/wmsm/ ************************************************ For Archives, to Unsubscribe, Subscribe or set Digest or Vacation mode use the below link. http://thethin.net/citrixlist.cfm *********************************************** This Weeks Sponsor: WM Software WMS Messenger for TSE Affordable Instant Messaging for Terminal Servers http://www.wmsoftware.com/wmsm/ ************************************************ For Archives, to Unsubscribe, Subscribe or set Digest or Vacation mode use the below link. http://thethin.net/citrixlist.cfm
