[THIN] Re: PVS deployed image - no seamless apps

Hi James,

No they just appear in an additional window. Closing that window disconnects
the user.

Is this an issue where apps launch a published desktop instead of the app
itself? Sorry am on the road so don't know whether I read original post fully

We have re-enabled short name creation and even recreated the image. All short
names (progra~1, …) are present. Still, the issue persists …

We've had issues with the XA tweaks from Citrix. Don't use disable
8dot3namecreation.

Hi,

We are pulling our hairs out over a strange issue... We recently created and
deployed a XenApp 6.5 ‘golden image’ through Provisioning Services (PVS 6.1).
The image itself works fine, but once deployed from within PVS, we are not able
to launch seamless apps. They do launch, but each application launches within a
window of their own. We tried CTX131995
(http://support.citrix.com/article/CTX131995) but that did not solve our issue.

Can anyone help with this? This is killing our POC.

Erik
