What existing hotfixes have you got installed ?
Anything in the event log to indicate whether all your files got replaced ?

I'm using Access datastore on one server in farm.
I tried dsmaint, but it did not help.
Uninstalling hotfix then Chfarm and rejoining farm resolved IMA startup
problem.
But I want this hotfix installed, because users are facing "Invalid menu
handle" problem and I hope that this will help.

try using dsmanint to restablish your connection to the datastore. What
are you using for the datastore?
