I have had good luck with VMware ESX 3.0.x and the converter utility. We
virtualized a couple of Presentation server boxes with Web Interface.
Just ran the converter, powered off the physical boxes, and powered up the
virtual ones. The converter is much easier to use than the older P2V
tool. More like Platespin, drag and drop.

Subject: [THIN] P2V CPS 4.0 R03 to ESX 3.0.x
I need to P2V a couple CPS 4.0 R03 boxes that are no longer used in
production, but need to be kept for a few apps installed only on them. Are
there any gotcha's when doing a P2V to VMware ESX 3.0.x, or do I just let it
rip?
