Are you using mandatory profiles?
FWIW, I have some outlook settings (registry) written in the login
script - and this is one of them.
Having said that, it's a binary value that I write, and I have no true
idea of the total significance of the data written, apart from the value
being called "Check Default Client".

I have Several users on 2k servers having this problem. They create
there profile and are asked if they want to set it as there default
email program. Then they logout and backin. it asks them to set as
default mail program AGAIN. Any idea why this is happening?
