Found that key before and ran a kix script to put the entry in before loading Outlook, problem is that when you launch outlook in that session it will remove the registry entry when it creates the new profile. If you right the registry key in again after you have to restart outlook which will then work. I put in a call to Microsoft and they tell me that if you use Mandatory profiles then you can't use Signatures. I was able to do it in Outlook 97 quite easily but apparently the signature settings are now save in the mapi profile and not in the registry, however they can't tell me if you can put anything in the PRF file to get the signatures working. Search under that key for NewSignature and you should see where the value is stored. _____ From: thin-bounce@xxxxxxxxxxxxx [mailto:thin-bounce@xxxxxxxxxxxxx] On Behalf Of Walter, Chris Sent: Friday, July 22, 2005 8:54 AM To: 'thin@xxxxxxxxxxxxx' Subject: [THIN] Re: Outlook 2003 on Terminal server Are you using mandatory profiles or flex? I am using Mandatory profiles, I can create an Outlook signature but the next time I logon I have to select the signature I want to use when I logon. I am looking for the registry keys needed to automatically load the outlook signature that is localed in %homeshare%\application data\microsoft\signatures. Is anybody else scripting this with Outlook 2003, I was able to do it for Outlook 97 a long time ago but the registry keys are different. Anybody know about the Standard templates for the forms? Thanks, Chris _____ From: Walter, Chris [mailto:christopher.walter@xxxxxxx] Sent: Thursday, July 21, 2005 1:07 PM To: 'thin@xxxxxxxxxxxxx' Subject: [THIN] Outlook 2003 on Terminal server Hi All, Doe anybody know where to change the path so that Autosignatures can be saved to the home directory instead of the local profile, otherwise the users need to recreate their signature when they login. A policy to do this would be great. Also does anybody know where the Standard templates folder when choosing forms in Outlook 2003 points to? I have a couple more templates to throw in but I don't seem to be putting them in the right place. Thanks, Chris
