Make sure you have a sound set for new emails under the
control-panel-Sounds and MultiMedia-New Email. This may be a profile
specific setting, so you will probably want to fix it in install mode,
or setup a script to set the sound for each user.

Hello there,

I was wondering whether anyone could test something for me.
Has anyone got the play sound when new mail arrives to work with outlook
=3D 2002 ?

I have been trying to get outlook 2002 and the email notifcation sound =
=3D
to work without success.

I have tried this on two test servers and i cannot get the damn thing to
=3D work.

Audio Mapping is enabled and i can play sounds with published =3D
applications and a full desktop. The option to=3D20 No policies are set =
to
disable sounds either. Feedback with sound was =3D also enabled to see =
if
that made a difference... but didnt. The weird thing is that i can
create a rule in outlook to get it to =3D work.

The reminder.wav just will not play when a new email arrives.=3D20

 thanks for your time
