I have been directed to purge files from our server that are 18 months old or older. I can do that quite easily, but the problem I'm having is that if someone wants to keep an older file ordinarily they would open the file and re-save it to write a new file date. However in MS Office 97 when you open a file, hit SAVE, or SAVE AS, the file date does not change unless you change the document contents. Any ideas?
