Jeff Check your permissions on the Microsoft Office common folder. (and recheck and make sure users have permissionson Temp folders) Only other thing this sounds like is some sort of spyware is going on. Have you run process explorer or other monitoring software to see what else is running at startup of a session? Check the run key in the registry etc etc. it just seems really odd.
