Adam, My first guess would be that you've got some firewall blocking your traffic...... How far do the jobs go? I am trying to print to another site across the internet. The print queue is to be hosted on my server. The printer itself has a direct connection to the Internet via a Jetdirect. By that, I mean the Jetdirect is connected to the Internet. My assumption is that to print across the Internet to this printer, I should treat is as an LPR. Correct? I've added Print Service for Unix to the server so I can configure LPR ports. The problem I am having is that once I enter the IP address of the printer, there's not much more I can configure. I don't have all the goodies that you get when you create a Standard TCP/IP port. Other than the fact that this printer is on the Internet, is there anything else that I am doing that is wrong? The problem is that my print jobs don't go through. I can't despool to the device. adam ******************************************************** This Weeks Sponsor: triCerat Inc.
