Do they reappear if you fail back to the original node? Were the shares created as resources in cluster admin, rather than simply sharing through explorer? -----Original Message----- From: Michael Boggan [mailto:MBoggan@xxxxxxxxxxx] Sent: 22 September 2003 19:55 To: 'thin@xxxxxxxxxxxxx' Subject: [THIN] Re: OT: error on cluster server Yep the Remote Registry Service is running on both servers. _________________________________ Michael Boggan Network Engineer/Citrix Admin Virtual Desktop Inc. I also have the followign error in the event viewer. MS DTC has determined that the cluster service is installed but not running when MS DTC was started. MS DTC will continue to startup but it will not failover. Additionally, if the cluster service is started then please shut down this instance of MS DTC as it will become unusable. Error Specifics: .\msdtc.cpp:986, CmdLine: C:\WINNT\System32\msdtc.exe, Pid: 796 has anyone seen this before and have any idea what the problem might be? thanks, _________________________________ Michael Boggan Network Engineer/Citrix Admin Virtual Desktop Inc.
