I personally prefer tools that are native to the operating system, hence,
my preference for WSH. With WSH, I can sit down at any NT4 or Win2K box and
use VBScript. The knowledge translates over to full-on VB also, so I get
proficiency in two areas for the price of one.=20
A great book I learned a lot from is Thomas Eck's 'Windows NT/2000 ADSI
Scripting for System Administration'; it shows you how to use VBSCript to
manage users, computers, the IIS metabase, etc. I highly recommend it,
although it won't teach you the basics of VBScript. For basic VBScript
reference, I bought O'Reilly & Associates 'VBScript in a Nutshell'.

There are lots...

Windows Script Host by Tim Hill - =3D http://makeashorterlink.com/?O1F042884
- more about VBScript than WSH. Books 1 & 2 on this list are fairly good.
BTW, WMI is where Microsoft = =3D is heading.

Hi

Whilst we are on the topic, can anyone suggest any good resources for
learning VBScript & WSH (internet sites, books etc). I have no =3D
experience in this and am keen to learn.. Not only for Citrix but also for
=3D scripting desktop operating systems..

Thanks
Rose
