Could be, but if you've got the money, these will last a while.  I've never
been let down by spec'ing more than I need.  I've also learned that over
time, you'll end up adding more functions anyway to the boxes anyway.  

I would only question the 3-36gb drivers to the file server.  RAID 5 will
give you ~72gb, a parity drive, and no hot spare.  4 - 5 drives would be a
better configuration if possible, that gives you extra drive space & a hot
spare.

Hello
Yesterday's thread on the Dell servers was interesting and insightful.  We
are in the process of getting quotes for three more servers.  One to do File
Serving, another to be a DC for a w2k domain, and another to be our Oracle
server.  We were going with Dual Processor 1.6mzh with 2Gig RAM, 3-36g 15k
Hard drives with a RAID-5 controller. Is this overkill? Thanks Mario
