HI sorry for the off topic, but I have been searching for a Microsoft answer to this, I need to prove that SQL server 2005 does not actually monitor the usage of license CAL's by default. I have found a blog http://blogs.msdn.com/sqlblog/archive/2006/11/10/tracking-license-inform ation-in-sql-2005.aspx stating reg modifications are required to enable SQL server 2005 to show what licenses you have. I'm I correct in what I am saying that when you install SQL server 2005 you do not need to provide SQL licensing information, other than make sure that you have the relevant licenses purchased from Microsoft. If so is there something on the Microsoft site that states this. thanks Ronnie Ronnie Hamilton CCNA Lufthansa Airmotive Ireland Naas Road Tel : 01 4011253 LTAI Visit our website : www.ltai.ie __________________________________________ Lufthansa Technik Airmotive Ireland Limited.
