Hello List,
Got a problem with receiving .URL's as attachments in Outlook 2007. It works
fine in our Outlook 2003 on our old CPS 4.0 farm, but we are migrating now to a
CPS 4.5 farm with Outlook 2007 installed.
The problem is touched upon in this technote article:-
http://support.microsoft.com/kb/829982
I have changed group policy to demote the file automatically from a level 1
attachment to a level 2 attachment, but now the user has to save the file to
disk instead of just double clicking it to open the file - like in our old farm.
We use Microsoft Navision a lot here, and a common way for users to share info
in this is to exchange URL files via email.
The natives will not be happy having to save this to disk each time.
Any ideas?
Thanks in advance.
Jaime.
