I can confirm that SBS requires that all components be loaded on the same
box. No exceptions.
One thing that is kind of cool is that SBS 2003 (due out soon) supports a
maximum of 75 users, instead of 2000's 50-user limit.

I believe that SBS and it's components have to be on one box.
SBS is a DC, and according to Microsoft, the only DC that can be in the
domain.(Which is true. I tried putting other DC's on, and it didn't work!)
Because of that, there isn't load balancing, etc. available, because the
only servers you can have within the domain are member servers, not DC's.
I maybe wrong (which wouldn't be the first time today), but my two-nickels
worth is, "all on the same box."

Do the components of Small Business Server - 2000 or 2003 - all have to go
on the same pc, or can they all (or some?) be spread out around the network?
Presumably its all on a single server? I've been told this before, but I
cant find anywhere that proves it either way, only sites that imply!
