[THIN] Re: OT: LDAP

I am new to some of this - when I choose add - is it Outlook address book or Personal address book?

I must be missing something - but not sure what?

Sorry

Dave

Within Outlook, you will need to specify a new address book, but specify
LDAP as the directory. Go through the wizard, and that's it.

Subject: [THIN] Re: OT: LDAP

How do I configure Outlook 2000 to see the AD user info? ie. I have all of
my Domain users in AD and have entered their email addresses in the AD user
info.

The Linux server user accounts (sendmail) are configured separately.

I have Outlook configured correctly to email through the sendmail server
(SMTP and POP3)

What do I need to configure so that a
user can compose a new message, click on "To:" and select from the list of
users that are pulled from AD.

I am assuming it is a "mail service" (or LDAP browser) that needs to be
added to see the info, but not sure what or how?

I hope this helps.

Dave
