[THIN] Re: OT- Go back Function

Hi Magnus,

You can set up a delightfully simple rollback scenario just be using
robocopy and regback to make a backup copy of the OS into another directory.

Then just modify boot.ini to point to the other directory as well and you're
good as bulletproof.

We've even used the backup boot directories for server remote server
cloning.

Didn't have a choice, it either worked or we had a 5 hour plane trip to fix
things. It worked!

regards,

Rick

Subject: [THIN] OT- Go back Function

Hello All
I am looking for some suggestions on what everyone is using for basically a
GO back or Roll back function
So basically if I install an app and it blue screens a server I have the
ability to roll the server back to what it was before the app was installed

I know that Norton System works (with Ghost) has that ability but I am
looking a something that will be automated

Thanks in advance

Magnus
