Exchange Server is same server. Will have same NetBIOS/DNS name.
My only hesitation with doing the move mailbox option is their Exchange
is currently flubbed, as is their Active Directory.=20

If you setup the exchange servers within the same site, it's pretty easy
to use the "move mailbox" option from within AD users and =
computers.=3D20
Moveing mailboxes this way will also auto update your end users outlook
to point them to the server where their mailboxes have moved too. Which
if you have a lot of users can be quite handy. You would need to have
both systems online when they startup outlook after their mailbox has
been moved for it to work properly.=3D20
Exmerge will certainly export and import all mailboxes to *.pst's.
However, you'll have to manually update outlook on the end users
stations to point to the new exchange server.=3D20

Do a search on the exchange newsgroup on yahoo. They have pretty
detailed
info on how to do it

Hi Ryan,
Did you check information about Exmerge ?
Exmerge can be used to extract mailboxes from a Exchange datastore..
Works
simple..

Wondered if anyone knew a good resource to migrate Exchange 2000 (SBS)
Mailboxes from one Exchange 2000 machine to another, or how to export
all of
the mailboxes/data and import back in after a full blown
format/reinstall of
the Operating System. I can't seem to find anything helpful... and
tonight
is going to be a late night!
